More than 100 parents joined the gathering not only to understand more about their daughters’ learning progress, behavioural performances and their preparations for the exams, but also to learn from Dr Au Cheung Kong, Professor of China Graduate School of Theology, who gave a talk entitled 'How to Help Cultivate Daughters’ Grateful Heart'.

Some parents took the opportunity to visit the newly renovated School Museum before the gathering started. After the Student Development Team analyzed the strengths, weaknesses and performances of the students, subject teachers shared some practical study and exam strategies to assist the S.1 parents in helping their daughters for the upcoming exam. Meanwhile, S2 parents received valuable tips on how to help their daughters cultivate good reading habits and emotionally support them.

Afterwards, our guest speaker, Dr. Au, talked about the importance of teaching teens gratitude, reminded the participating parents to nurture gratitude in an age-appropriate way and suggested effective ways including making 'thank you’ a regular phrase and identifying opportunities for gratitude.

The event was surely meaningful and fruitful thanks to our parents’ active participation. We all believe that a closer home-school link is a valuable asset to the healthy growth of our students.
